Memory Test: Train Your Recall
Free · no sign-up · unlimited new questions
The memory test runs in three phases. First you memorize a table of countries, manufacturers, products and prices. Then you solve distraction tasks so the table doesn't just sit in your short-term memory. Finally you answer questions about the table — without seeing it again.
Practice the memory test now › Mensa simulationHow it works
- Learning phase: the table is shown for five minutes.
- Distraction: you answer other questions from the test.
- Recall: questions about the table, for example which manufacturer comes from which country or what a product costs.
- If you want it quicker, there is "Table only" without the distraction phase.
Tips
- Look for patterns in the table — for example manufacturer names with the same ending that belong to the same country.
- Memorize connections rather than single values: country, manufacturer and product as a little story.
Relevance for IQ and Mensa tests
Memory is tested in many intelligence and aptitude tests, often with exactly this sequence of memorizing, distraction and recall.
Frequently asked questions
Is the table generated anew each time?
Yes, countries, manufacturers, products and prices are recombined in every round.
Am I allowed to take notes?
Not if you want honest training. In a real test you usually don't get the chance either.
